Code Intelligence

Purpose-built GitHub App

Your codebase, semantically understood.

Install our GitHub App to ingest your repositories. AI analyzes architecture, dependencies, and patterns—then connects code to your Operational Knowledge Graph. Your processes finally know about your code.

How it works

From repository to knowledge in three steps

01

Install the GitHub App

One-click installation. Select the repositories you want to analyze. The app uses read-only permissions—your code never leaves GitHub.

02

AI analyzes semantically

Architecture, dependencies, design patterns, API surfaces, data models, and service boundaries are identified and mapped automatically.

03

Code meets Knowledge Graph

Your codebase becomes part of your Operational Knowledge. HEIDI can answer questions like "What service handles payments?" or "Which SOP covers the auth flow?"

What it enables

Code-aware operational intelligence

When your Knowledge Graph understands your code, everything gets smarter: impact analysis, documentation, onboarding, and automation.

Ask questions about code

"Which service handles invoice processing?" HEIDI answers from your Knowledge Graph—including code, SOPs, and process docs.

Code ↔ Process linking

Automatically connect code modules to business processes, SOPs, and documentation. See which process owns which service.

Smarter impact analysis

Change a process requirement and see which code modules, APIs, and tests are affected. Change code and see which SOPs need updating.

Developer onboarding

New engineers ask HEIDI about the codebase and get answers that include business context, not just code structure.

Architecture documentation

Auto-generated architecture docs that stay in sync with your code. Never write another outdated system diagram.

Dependency mapping

Visualize service dependencies, API contracts, and data flows across your entire tech stack automatically.

The bigger picture

Meeting → Confluence → Jira → Code → Knowledge

Code Intelligence closes the loop. Requirements from meetings become Jira tickets, coding agents build the code, and Code Intelligence feeds the results back into your Knowledge Graph—so your next meeting starts with full context.

Security & privacy first

Read-only access

The GitHub App only reads code. It cannot push, merge, or modify your repositories.

No code storage

Code is analyzed in transit. Only semantic metadata (architecture, dependencies, patterns) is stored in your Knowledge Graph.

Repository-level control

Choose exactly which repositories to connect. Revoke access anytime from your GitHub settings.

SOC 2 & GDPR

Enterprise-grade security. Encrypted in transit and at rest. Swiss data residency available.

Language agnostic

Works with every stack

Semantic analysis operates at the architecture level—services, APIs, data flows, dependencies. It works regardless of language, framework, or runtime.

Python
TypeScript
Java
Go
Rust
C#
React
Node.js
Spring
Django
FastAPI
Next.js

And every other language and framework. Analysis is architecture-level, not syntax-level.

Give your Knowledge Graph eyes on your code.

Connect your repositories. Let AI build the bridge between code and operations. Start with one repo—scale to your entire org.

Q&A

Frequently asked questions

Learn more about how Process Designer works and how it can help your organization.

Does the GitHub App store my source code?+

No. The GitHub App uses read-only permissions and analyzes code in transit. Only semantic metadata—architecture, dependencies, patterns—is stored in your Knowledge Graph. Your source code never leaves GitHub.

Which languages and frameworks are supported?+

Code Intelligence supports all major languages and frameworks. The semantic analysis works at the architectural level (services, APIs, dependencies), so it's language-agnostic by design.

How does code connect to my Knowledge Graph?+

Once analyzed, code modules are linked to business processes, SOPs, and documentation in your Knowledge Graph. You can ask HEIDI questions like 'Which service handles payments?' and get answers that span both code and operations.

Can I choose which repositories to analyze?+

Yes. During installation you select exactly which repositories to connect. You can add or remove repositories at any time from your GitHub settings.
